Palin was asked if Eric Robert Rudolph is a terrorist. She claims that Ayers is a terrorist but an abortion clinic bomber is not. Eric Robert Rudolph is the "Olympic Centennial Park Bomber" who was also convicted of attacks on two abortion clinics and a lesbian nightclub. Rudolph left a trail of destruction that left 2 people dead, and 120 injured. He was a far worse "terrorist" than William Ayers ever was, After a five year man hunt he was finally caught and sentenced to prison (Rudolph got life, Ayers' case was dismissed).

So why the double standard? When Bill Ayers is called a "terrorist," the intention isn't to be descriptive, it's to associate Ayers with the Evildoers We're At War With, people he has absolutely nothing in common with. Does Rudolph get a pass from Palin because he is a member of the far right? Would Ayers' name even be mentioned if he was a member of the far right?

I guess it's ok because he's a X-tian. He must have bombed those clinics for the lord, so it's A-OK in her book. What a twit. How can anyone defend this statement of hers?

Palin is nuts. She really believes we are in Iraq doing "God's will" and its why voters will reject her and Gramps, two nutjobs who love them some war.

Degenerate Matter: Palin Loves Eric Robert Rudolph (http://74.125.45.104/search?q=cache:dA7rCCAI13wJ:www.degenerate.com/archives/000220.html+palin+eric+robert+rudolph&hl=en&ct=cln k&cd=9&gl=us - broken link) Here is video of her comment.

"I don't know if you can use the word terrorist there...."

I was in a cabin in the NC Mountains when the manhunt for Rudolph was being executed. It was horrifying to have the authorities knock at the door and tell us to remain inside and that our lives might be at risk.

Maybe they wear white hats while they bomb and Ayers wears a black one?

Why sure! If "GOD" tells you it's alright to kill, then are you accusing God of being a terrorist?
There is an incredible double standard here! Personally, I think that rather than refering to some imaginary "god" for the authority to commit horrendous acts, we should look instead to Psychiatrists and Psychologists to understand the mindset of such people!

Here's my take on her comment "those that engage in harming "innocent" Americans...IMHO, it could be Palin views people that run abortion clinics as guilty, not innocent, because they perform abortions. From Palin's standpoint, it may be she doesn't believe they're terrorists.

This can be turned around as well.....why does ayers get a pass? Because he is a far left liberal? Because he was protesting the vietnam war?
Face it, they are both domestic terrorists, and the fact that they both get a pass by a far left leaning liberal (obama) and a far right leaning neocon (palin) hardly makes either position legit.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I could never understand why so many North Carolinians hid this guy from the authorities extending the manhunt and causing so much anxiety among other citizens.

Isn't that why the 9/11 terrorists did what they did?...because they thought they were doing their God's will?
