The article only quotes him on the polls (51%-40% = "We're gonna win it!") - not much else.

What else did he say, golfgod? He didnt bring Mrs. Palin with him.
He rejects the polls? Well I reject gravity but dang it, I'm still stuck here on the ground!

Really scary words to use... like he knows his party is stealing the democrats votes. Just like what Bush pulled in 2000.

He didn't say that - and you would know it if you actually watched.

He rejected the NBC poll that Brokaw kept trying to premise his questions with. He cited the zogby poll, which was 3 today. He talked about other polls that are much closer, and most importantly he mentioned his internal polls which show something else.

NBC is one of THE most biased outfit out there - why should we believe their polls when their coverage is so slanted.

It's up now for those who want to watch:

YouTube - McCain on McCain: NBC 10/26/08 (Chapter 1)

Unlike the rabid Obama bashers, I will actually watch it and listen to what he has to say.

Remember, he promised Bush the white house.

He dismissed the many polls that had him down very big and accepted the the 2 polls that just have him down big. Stop trying to distort the truth. McStumble is done. He couldn't remember anything. It was a little sad.

Read your own post here or just follow along with me for a trip down recent memory lane...

I only quoted the title of the article posted in another members post which stated quite specifically, "CTV.ca | McCain says campaign is on track, rejects polls"

To which I replied with an interjection of humor to this one specific post.

You then stated that he didn't say that, to which I never claimed that he did state that in the first place. Then in the course of your own post where you stated he never rejected polls, that he rejected the NBC poll, which as far as I can tell is a poll.

As to whether or not you believe NBC is biased or not, or even if the moon is made of green cheese is your own business, but to say he didn't reject it then did reject it in favor of his own internal polling seems rather, well, confusing to me.

Uninspiring, but I've come to expect that of McCain 2008. But I was more disappointed than anything else ... I was sure McNasty was going to make an appearance! He came close a couple of times, but managed to control his anger. So I guess, with lowered expectations, McCain did good.
