How many of you believe a revolution is imminent within your life time??? I am not just talking about a "voting" revolution. I am talking about a full on revolution to over throw the government. I mean, that is why we have our second amendment.

I should have also asked...

If you do believe it will happen, why?

I you believe it will not happen, why?

Oh, go back up in the hills with your camouflage paranoia of socialist, Jews, angry black folks, black helicopters, new world orders and big foot! We will leave you to your Red Dawn fantasies if you promise to just get off the net and leave us sane folks alone.

As for the second amendment, I am a concealed weapons permitted holder for more than 20 years, a gun toting liberal who has actually read the U.S. Constitution, the Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers, I for the life of me, I do not recall a single instance where the stated or implied reason for the 2nd Amendment is for the purpose of overthrowing the government.

So go, away with you!

Why in the world would there be a revolution if either McCain or Obama gets elected? Please actually tell me your reason for this because I'm ready for a good laugh..

if we didn't revolt under Dubya & Cheney as they literally wiped their behinds with our Constitution what is your premise for a revolution now? I think most Americans would like to have habeus Corpus back where it belongs under the Constitution and not at the whim of the Presidency or the fact that we Americans love our privacy instead of having the Bush/ Cheney cabal wiretapping Americans or reading their emails.

Heres some info for you on Obama... I hope you like your CCW while it lasts...

Opposes civilian concealed carry
I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry.
--- Mendell, David, "From Promise to Power" (2007), p. 251.
I am not in favor of concealed weapons. I think that creates a potential atmosphere where more innocent people could (get shot during) altercations.
--- Pittsburg Tribune-Review (April 2, 2008).
[Obama] backed federal legislation that would ban citizens from carrying weapons, except for law enforcement. He cited Texas as an example of a place where a law allowing people to carry weapons has "malfunctioned" because hundreds of people granted licenses had prior convictions. "National legislation will prevent other states' flawed concealed-weapons laws from threatening the safety of Illinois residents," Obama said.
--- Illinois Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (http://www.icadp.org/page236.html - broken link) (Citing David Mendel, Chicago Tribune, February 20, 2004)

Americans have their televisions and lazy-boys, so as long as there are new prime time scripts, there's nothing to worry about (or hope for, depending on your perspective).

If there were going to be a revolution it would be about money. In some ways, it's always about money.

WOW ,All that because of a simple question?
I didn't see anywhere in the question that he was advocating a revolution. Did I miss a link or something?
