Do you really believe our problems started just two years ago????? This started years ago. The Bush administration knew about some of these problems around the start of the Iraq war in 2003. They chose to ignore the problems. They preferred to spend billions on an unjust war this country could not afford. They are responsible for not trying to solve these issues back then. Now look where we are. Now McCain would have us to believe he is NOT George Bush. Well, McCain voted with Bush 90% of the time... (his own words).

Not even rehearsed - just empty legal words walking around the issues.

Well, apparently Bush was solely responsible for 9/11 having been in office for 8 months so I'd assume 2 years was PLENTY of time for Nancy, Harry and the rest of Team 10% to work their magic.

Believe it or not, I think both parties are full of crap. I just get tired when people want to point fingers at only one party and not take responsibility for their own shortfalls. Our system doesn't work anymore, period! So do you really believe the Democratic party has no responsibility for the situation we're in right now? Get real!

Live the stereotype dude Keep it up, its what has gotten the US into the mess its in now.
So you felt such a kinship with America that you packed your bags and left?

Europeans recoil in the face of aggression, look at Spain's reaction to the tragic Madrid bombings. America confronts it. Europeans rely on the nanny state, Americans rely on innovation and economic opportunity. These fundamental differences are among what has made America by far the strongest economy in the world...the #2 economy is not even close.

LOL... you bought that line... I bet you believed the smaller gov line when Regan said it too.
Since you are in the market,(for BS) I have a great bridge for sale in NY, less than the 700B bailout, or the 10B monthly for continuing the war (prior to escalating).

freedom? hmmm guess you like the Patriot act, even though it damages the constitution, your freedom and independence. I guess it's true... ignorance is bliss.

Good for you! Let's hope they stick to these conservative principles instead of trying to become dem-lites.

You need to understand that McCain was railed for voting AGAINST Bush's tax cuts. The reason why? He wanted the plan to also include spending cuts, which it didn't and so he voted against it! Good for him.

He has been very largely misunderstood. I think it's too sad.

Actually I am married to a Brit. What a clever and typical comeback. Puhleeze. About as educated a come back as something Palin would say. Funny how I spend my life in public as the personification of America. The only American most people have ever met. So many people think of America as a stereotype and I battle it daily. Then I hear the likes of you and start to wonder if maybe, just maybe the stereotypes are just not true. Hmm. there is a thought for me.

Strongest economy? Have you not read the papers? Do you not see that the US is heading into a Depression? Do tell me how that is the strongest economy in the world? Well, I am listening? France isnt in a recession or a depression. France doesnt rely on the middle east for power. They are compeletly self suffiecient.

Your comments remind me of the cheerleaders back in high school. Were #1. We are the best! Funny, the team still lost its fair share of football games. Maybe if you stopped cheerleading and being so closed minded and heck, gooly, gosh, traveled... you might just realize that their is good and bad everywhere. Europe has some really good ideas. Europe has a free market. Europe has manufactoring. People own buisnesses.

And for packing bags and leaving... I am lucky. I have a bigger picture of the world then you do. Broaden your horizons. Heck... get a passport.
