The McCain campaign is getting desperate as each day goes by but the things they are saying are inserting fear into people. They kind of fear that led to the assasination of Martin Luther King Jr.

Palin hysterically suggested that through Obama's proposals, he could create a country "where the people are not free."

Wow, hysterically, huh?

Desperate?

Fear?

Assassinations?

That's a lot of hype for a couple of sentences, do you realize that? You're talking about Palin losing it? Good lord, read those lines again.

We're losing our freedoms and liberties, and an Obama administration will not help that one bit. That's Palin's point. Sorry you missed it.

It's the only card they have (though they have secretly tried to play the race card without owning up to it) so they go with what they have.

The real question people should be asking is why is fear all they have? Are they that shallow and inept, or are they so completely bought and paid for by big oil and the financial world.

Continue Bush's fear, that got us into a disaster of a war, put us under the Patriot Act, loss of Habeas Corpus, uncontrolled wire tapping, free speech only in certain zones, etc., ect.,.......

It doesn't matter what term this totally discredited gasbag (now rivalling Hannity and Buchanan for vitriole) calls Obama, and she's tried just about all of them;

Socialist
Terrorist
Tax and spender
Community organizer (dripping with sarcasm)
Inexperienced
Flip flopper
etc.

The voters have listened and heard them all. The funny thing is they are voting, and saying back to her and McCain, WELL AT LEAST HE'S NOT A REPUBLICAN.

Times like these call for Pastor Muthee to de-witch the country. He will also be able to shoe-off the socialist witches haunting Obama. I am thankful that one day Palin may represent us.

What we are seeing "desperation" in action. I suggest that the "religious right", Sarah Palin included, stop lying to get what they want, make their case on policy only, and accept with grace what they should undoubted see as "God's will".

I would not be surprised with every wonderful idea from each other the filibuster proof congress that after all was said and done it wouldn't resemble communism.

Nationalizing 401K:
The Obama (Stock Market) Discount May Be Real - Capital Commerce (usnews.com)

Redistribution of funds:
Obama: 'Theoretically' OK for Courts to Redistribute Wealth - Capital Commerce (usnews.com)

UHC:
Barack Obama and Joe Biden: The Change We Need | Health Care

All that's left is the means of production if all that passes. As far as Marx is concerned we are already half way there. Once the government has control of every aspect of your life then those same hated men/women in congress will be able to vote on those precious things you call freedoms now. Financial crisis? Well we will just pull funds from the nationalized 401k plan that way if it doesn't work everyone feels the pain the same. It's definitely something to be concerned about it you don't want every aspect of your life controlled by government. Gov. does tend to do as it wishes with us.

This is even further evidence that she's on her own. McCain won't even say anything about it anymore. He's in damage control mode for his own career.

That's really a good question. I would lean to think it’s a little of both. I am sure she is getting fed things to say from the McCain camp. No doubt about it. I know if I had a running mate for anything, that I would like to have a pretty good idea about what they are going to say, or even coach them on what to say and what not to say. But, I also think that Ms. Palin goes a little away from the preconceived game plan and definitely says what she wants to sometime. Good post and an excellent question to ponder over.
