It's the only card they have (though they have secretly tried to play the race card without owning up to it) so they go with what they have.
The real question people should be asking is why is fear all they have? Are they that shallow and inept, or are they so completely bought and paid for by big oil and the financial world.
Continue Bush's fear, that got us into a disaster of a war, put us under the Patriot Act, loss of Habeas Corpus, uncontrolled wire tapping, free speech only in certain zones, etc., ect.,.......

She has really lost it.
Seems she believes the President can supercede the Constitution, reason enough to keep her faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from the White House. The Constitution's been pummeled enough the past 7+ years, it deserves a little respect.

Reason: spelling
As they feel the election slipping away they are becoming more desperate, reaching for anything they can get their hands on to negatively cajole and purposely misinterpret. They are a sad lot!
Exactly what I was thinking. Along with mass unions they will nationalize pay scales and create the worst working environment in the history of the US.
Nationalization leads to fascism and communism. It just takes one loony to take office for it to turn totalitarian in nature where the strong arm of the government equalizes populations so there is no more class warfare. It does that of course by force.
both campaigns have. the dems have done it as well. creating fear over some mythical "100 year war." the "bomb iran" song. "warmonger." all politicians do it. you can't win, you have to make the other guy lose. I have been saying this for years.
McCain said all of these things and is a warmonger. There's no vail "we need to know the full extent of these relationships" nonsense to cast doubt. I'm wondering when the McCain campaign will announce what the full extent of these relationships are. I can't wait
The McCain campaign is getting desperate as each day goes by but the things they are saying are inserting fear into people. They kind of fear that led to the assasination of Martin Luther King Jr.
Palin hysterically suggested that through Obama's proposals, he could create a country "where the people are not free."
She has really lost it.
She's probably too uneducated to know what a Communist State IS. Judge the source...
