I've spoken with relatives and friends across the country and not one of them have been polled in this Presidential election by any of the major, well known, national polling organizations.
Out of curiousity, have you? This isn't a debate about who we're for ... I just think it would be interesting.
Yes. Being in NH, we have been receiving polls for about 2 years now. It was really strong from Dec-Feb for the primary. Since August, we get called a few times a week. Back in September, I was called by two different polls in the same day.
It would be interesting if you know whether you've been polled for a state poll or a national poll. I have been polled for in state elections (senatorial) and during the poll asked who I'm supporting for President, but that's not the same thing.
I have never been polled strictly for a Presidential poll.
Of course at this point in the election, the individual state Presidential polls are the most interesting, particularly in those battleground states that are supposed to "tell the tale"
I have been polled three times this year so far. Twice on cell phone and once on house phone all by Gallup.
DH has been polled twice, once by an independent pollster on the land line and once by Gallup on his cell.
While this is the first year that I have been polled on my cell, I have been polled in every Presidential election since Reagan/Carter.
