Even da dems do not like the Obama health care giveaway plan.

She is an adviser to him and she does not like it.

“I’m not that fond of his plan.” Edwards complained that Obama.

I see you are back again with your source-less posts.

For balance, here is Mrs. Edwards' opinion of the McCain plan:

"Elizabeth Edwards on Tuesday said Republican presidential candidate John McCain's health care plan would allow insurers to cherry pick individuals they want to cover, leaving those with cancer, diabetes and other diseases without coverage."

p.s. the topic is Edwards and Obamas healthcare plan, not McCains... I dont care that she disagrees with McCain, I would expect her to being she's an Obama advisor. Disagreeing with Obamas though, thats news..

Nice try at deflecting from the topic..

Why would it be news?

Newsflash: Elizabeth Edwards was on board with a different health plan during the primaries.

Newsflash: Elizabeth Edwards still likes the health plan she advocated during the primaries rather than the health plan Obama advocates.

Wow, who'd a thunk that an advisor to Obama wouldn't agree with Obama 100%. Because---biggest Newsflash of all----the vast majority of people who support Obama don't agree with him 100% of the time. They just disagree with McCain more.

Of course she doesn't like it, but here's a news flash, if you don't like Obama's proposal you damned sure wouldn't like Elizabeth Edward's which is far more "socialist" than Obama with mandatory requirements that everyone opt into a national plan or face penalties. The fact that Obama's plan doesn't have mandates is a bit sticking point for her, John and Hillary.

You should count your blessings.

Because be it Edwards or Obamas plan, its one step closer to a national healthplan, which they both support..

Why the 2nd posting added nothing to the topic.

Why the 2nd posting added nothing to the topic.

It just added something that you don't like. It added that there is room in the Democratic party for people to disagree and yet to still move forward. IF Obama is elected, he won't be appointing only yes-men to his administration that believe that the oath they take to serve and defend the United States means to advance only the policies of the President, but instead it might mean challenging that executive to do better. That's been the problem for seven years, not the legacy of Clinton, not the Democrats in Congress. The problem has been that nobody was there to stand up to the Bush/Cheney, and say "I think we could do better. I think we may be on the wrong path. I think we should be prepared for things to not work out the way we want them to."

So, below is the link to what I believe is the original source for the OP. Interesting s/he didn't include this part:

"“We're on the verge of an Obama Presidency," said Edwards at George Washington University Monday night, and “I’m not that fond of his plan.” Edwards complained that Obama – like his Republican rival, Sen. John McCain -- views healthcare as a commodity, rather than a human right. Still, Edwards called the plan a step in the right direction – despite its lack of a "mandate for universality” – and said it wouldn’t scare people and politicians as had the Clinton administration’s attempt in 1993.

However, Edwards’ critique of Obama’s plan doesn’t mean that she’s saving any love for McCain’s health care proposals. Edwards – who has battled breast cancer since 2004 – said McCain’s plan fails in all important areas by leaving the decision-making process up to individuals, who can frequently “make stupid economics decisions.”"

I am back to make sure you libs are walking a straight line.

[MOD CUT]

The Obama plan has already been ditched, do not not see that the moron Obama has not talked about it much, he knows he does not have the money to give away yet more free healthcare to losers and have us pay his global tax crap.

Of course he would love nothing better then to send you tax money to Africa then take care of us. Just the way the moron is.

Spin this, even the dems are seeing the USS Obama sinking and are jumping off to save themselves.
