I'm not sure why McCain thought it would work with more then the most right of his red neck base, but hey, he gave it a shot...we all got a good laugh. Saturday Night Live got more fodder. But in the end, yeah, just a joke.

You should send this to Issac Baker the Obama spokesman so that he stops responding to Joe's comments on the trail.....again if it doesn't matter and is a joke then you should not respond!
So what flavor kool-aid do you prefer? It seems to working for you as evidence of your stultiloquent post.

Ah, I do believe "Kool-aid" will be the next Godwin's rule analogy for the internet. At least until after the elections. I'm a bit surprised you went right to it, but ok. If "Joe the Plumber" means that much to you, you can just go on ahead and own that emotion ; I'm just never going to be able to muster more then a giggle over it. Sorry!

Not Robin Hood.. Robin Hood stole back what belonged to the people and gave it back to them.. Obama wants to steal what belongs to someone else and give it to someone else.. not the same thing at all.

As for my reply and the attacks on it.. I figured as much, talking to an Obama supporter is like talking to a brick wall.. and about as smart too.

All in all, a really excellent post, SLCPUNK. Would rep you but apparently I've done too much of that recently. Thanks for sharing that.

That is exactly what Obama wants to do. Only a real brick wall would not be aware of how the middle class got robbed these past years. Was bailing out Wall Street cronies not robbing the people? You don't even know when you are being fleeced for real. 85% of the stock market is owned by 10% of the population. The illegal occupation of Iraq bankrupted our treasury. Sending jobs and manufacturing overseas has stolen from the people. Not forging ahead with energy alternatives and enriching the oil companies and the Saudis is robbing and poisoning the people. Cutting math and science education is robbing our kids of the ability to compete in a global economy. Robbed? The American people have been massacred and now it is almost over. Obama/Biden "08

ROFLMAO! You lost me when you wrote the crap about him being refreshing and not like a politician! Heh, this guy was a product of the sleaziest, shadiest POLITICAL MACHINE in America!

The rest read like the text of a 9th-grade assigned persuasive speech, down to the last sentence.

Actually, what Obama is trying to do is recover for the middle class the tax rate that they had in 2000 and return to the top 2% of Americans the tax rate that they had in 2000. In addition he is going to make a real effort to recover all those good middle class jobs that were stolen and shipped to China and bring them back here so we can HAVE a middle class again. I call that being really PRO AMERICA. The only ones that don't are those who only see America as for the rich and do not care about the 98% of Americans that are left out of their vision.

Then you must be very critical of Sarah Palin's juvenile, ignorant responses to simple questions that a 5th grader could answer.
