Could you be anymore off base?

You don't think Jews score higher in IQ tests? You don't think they approve of peace talks with Hamas?

Gallup Oct 08

Jewish voters nationwide have grown increasingly comfortable with voting for Barack Obama for president since the Illinois senator secured the Democratic nomination in June. They now favor Obama over John McCain by more than 3 to 1, 74% to 22%. . .

The current proportion of U.S. Jews backing Obama is identical to the level of support the Democratic ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards received in the 2004 presidential election (74%) . . . . Bottom Line: The Obama/Biden ticket is poised to perform about on par with other recent Democratic presidential tickets when it comes to support from American Jewish voters.

Glenn Greenwald on the "Dixiegirl" type Jewish voter

Right-wing polemicists like Goldfarb's boss, Bill Kristol, love to parade around as though they are the arbiters of all things "pro-Jewish" and "anti-Israel" and the like -- hence their decrees that Obama would have trouble attracting Jewish votes. But polling data conclusively demonstrates that the vast majority of American Jews reject the right-wing and neoconservative worldview -- it is a fringe group among Jews generally..

what a lie! A newspaper isn't bound by any journalistic code of ethics not to release something like a video! They are not supposed to divulge the IDENTITY of their informant - big difference! As many have already stated, they are coyly playing games, stalling until the election is over because they don't want to cause Obama's lead to evaporate any more than it already has. The LA Times is an embarrassment, flagrantly protecting their candidate. Talk about yellow journalism! They make the old Hearst newspapers look fair and balanced!

You're confused.

The question is, in the course of story they came accross an informant that agreed to give them a video with the "agreement" that it not be made public. They could report about the tape, but the tape could not be aired. .....they are keeping their word. ....That's known as "ETHICAL BEHAVIOR"...plenty of evidence is made available this way...for instance McCains medical records were made available for viewing only. No copies..

I suppose by your standards it's the obligation of the reporter to steal McCains medical records made available during the viewing if he could?

The MSM is actually reporting the McCain-Khalidi 'connection' this morning in conjunction with the LA Times response.

Convenient excuse - sources. Whatever is on this tape, it must be bad. I'm quite sure they would respect their "source" if Mac or Palin were on this tape. Not!

Outrageous.
I hope that you keep hyping this up, so that if it ever does get released, people will say "That's all there is?" "This is what all the fuss was about?"

Keep setting high expectations sanrene.

Jamie Gold, the newspaper's readers' representative, said in a statement: "More than six months ago the Los Angeles Times published a detailed account of the events shown on the videotape. The Times is not suppressing anything. Just the opposite -- the L.A. Times brought the matter to light."

"In reporting on Obama's presence at the dinner for Khalidi, the article noted that some speakers expressed anger at Israel and at U.S. foreign policy, but that Obama in his comments called for finding common ground."

Both are quotes from you link...

Nice try on the spin cycle Sanrene...This one isn't going to stick either.

Obama has a LOT of shady friends in very low places! I cannot believe how protective the media is of Obama. If only the evidence on Obama was made public he would almost certainly be on the FBI and CIA hot list as a potential threat to our country. But here we are with Obama likely to be the next President of the United States. Absolutely amazing!

Polled on one captured Gilad Shalit NOT about occupation or key issues. A temporary cease fire isn't peace talks.
