My question is why spend $50,000 to remodel the governor's mansion if you are going to stay at home?

You're going to have to start with the PTA and then become mayor of a meth town.

The governor's mansion is in Juneau; Palin's office is in Anchorage.

The mansion was pretty run down and I think the repairs would have been done no matter who got elected.

The Republicans will probably say something like....the ethics complaint has been filed by a private citizen in Anchorage, which it apparently was, though the link that the OP posted didn't specify that.

Kind of like Berg's complaint against Obama.

And I'm not a Republican.
