I don't understand these polls. This says his lead is growing and both MSNBC and CNN say it is narrowing.

Suggestion: If MSNBC says it's narrowing, you'd better believe it's narrowing.

The issue is manipulaton/updating of the polling sample by party and sub group. The national may be tightening but if you go to the Oct 30 polling thread you can see the state polls and see what they are doing.

Either way anybody spins it, the lead is 5-7pts as it has always been which normally translates into about 300 electoral votes.
