Obama was not "friends" with him. He served on two charitable boards with him. And Ayers hosted a political fundraiser in his home for Obama--the kind of thing board members do for each other all the time. "Friendship" is irrelevant. Grow up.

There is a little difference in giving a speech someone wrote for you and being friends with someone like Ayers and his wife for over 20 years. Michelle Obama knew his wife from her law firm first.

He was invited by two of the other board members--both female. It was the Republican billionaire Walter Annenberg who "trusted" AYERS to divvy up millions of dollars.
