I am asking you to attempt to differentiate him from mccain. you can't. they are the same candidate. I will vote for a 3rd party because they incumbents have been failures.

Your mind is made up. It will not be changed by one listed reason to vote for Obama. It is apparent you do not agree with or believe in what Obama proposes and you do not support his position.

I respect your opinion, but I don't see these things in either candidate.

Fair enough. Who are you thinking of voting for BTW? Just curious and not on the prowl for attacks or anything.

Yes.
Obviously it's more amusing to be the acerbic bystander rather than an active contributing participant.
At the very least, IMHO Obama has smarts, a strong team, and the ability to lead.
I'd like to see us head off this spendthrift consumerist path we're on and take charge of our destiny--I was really hoping for a brighter future for my kids than what the Bush Administration has helped create.

You had me until we got to honesty. please... He's no more honest than any other pol, please don't make me point out the various statements he's made that were not true, we all know what they are.

Since I'm disabled/retired and since I have an autistic son I'd most likely benefit waaaay more from Obama than McCain (a point that was made clear to me by a Democrat friend) but the problem I have is I don't think Obama will be able to do half of what he has been promising and don't agree that other things he says are good for the working people or their wallets or that he will be good for our safety.

I had to put what's best for me personally and all the chatchkas that I'd most likely get aside and think about all my neighbors and friends welfare as well.
As I've said many times niether one is worth a darn...

For two more months anyway. Then the Marxist regime that Obama installs will make it indistinguishable from Cuba.

Let me guess Mr Green Jeans, you make your living off the taxpayer.

The difference among the two are obvious. Simply put, McCain does not care about the Middle Class, Obama does. McCain does not support Universal Health Care, Obama does. McCain does not feel that healthcare is a right, he feels it is a privilege. Obama's tax plan again supports middle class as opposed to McCain's tax plan who supports the rich. McCain is simply out of touch with every day working class people.

Obama wants to end the war, McCain wants to continue the war and create others.

McCain's actions will be geared overall towards the rich, Obama's will be geared towards the middle and lower class.

I consider myself a libertarian. bob barr appears to be a wanna be. chuck baldwin is a bit too religious for me. I am just going to write in a dead president honestly. jefferson or coolidge. it's a wasted vote, but I voted, which means I can continue to complain.
