Jesus dude. Give it a break. Like in your other thread, are you evil or something. Do you like to make your political points off other's suffering?

My dog has more class than you.

He did his usual by pointing out the problems we face.....then answered with how he would do those things with "hope" and "change". A panel of undecided voters all though they liked the message said it lacked substance. There were over 20 undecideds on the panel.

It's a life style they got used to when things were fat and fun. Now things are tightening up they are freaking because they don't know how to save money or change habits. They want the old fat bubble lifestyle.....They should have known when a bubble was present it burst......it's only happened what 20 or so times since our creation. That's the school system for you though.....no more personal responsibility.....only liability is taught now.

Perhaps it was just showing that families are not able to go out and eat like they normally do without it costing a fortune. Why make it so complex?

Because that isn't what it's showing.

Two pizzas cost $24. I see the point you're making but, honestly, there are times when families get busy and stop for something to eat.

Through that whole last boom people should have been living about 50-60% of the lifestyle they were. I remember the tech bubble best as I worked in that sector. The same thing happened people were living fat...for a little over 2 years things got tight but not long enough to effect society only long enough to give people a taste.....the Bush tax cut's kicked in and unemployment decreased. The rise in everyday goods rose slowly because it was tied with oil prices. People didn't get the jolt of recession because it never happened....even through the 10th worst stock market crash in US history and 9/11.....no recession. And yet Democrats blame Bush saying he destroyed the economy and people fall hook line and sinker. The wars have cost us less than 3% of our total GDP over these many years. We also had Katrina....still no recession. About this time I'm saying to myself (and I'm no financial wizard) this can't sustain itself. I started cutting back as I fell prey to being able to buy most anything I wanted when I wanted it. The people voting for Obama never got to that point when it would have mattered and now they are saying holy crap no all the sudden I can't make payments.

It brings me back to when I was young and I saw my father working and saving for over 2 years to get me my first vehicle ($4000). And I was to pay him back....in reality he should have made me save my own money. But anyways that lesson finally caught on one day....hey he didn't buy that the day he wanted it. He set a goal saved the money and bought it outright. But in the same way cig. companies got more smokers (aiming to the younger crowd) so did the credit card companies.

This company was in my home town and made people millionaires with what seemed overnight. It made them just as poor just as quick when the NASDAQ plummeted.
