I have not posted here for very long, and this is the first time I am starting a thread of my own. If it violates any rules and needs to be deleted, then I will understand. I just want to repeat what I posted in the other thread since not everyone will see it there.

I was angry when I heard the story on the news about the reporters being kicked off the plane, and I was angry when I posted in that thread. I think in the last few weeks I have made some decent contributions to this forum. But my posts in that other thread were poor, and I apologize to anyone I may have offended. I take everyones' right to vote very seriously, and would not want to interfere with anyone's right to vote. My posts were out of line and had no place on this forum.

That is right. Three media enteties that had been traveling with him since day one were aksed to leave today. Why? Because they endorsed McCain. Unbelievable. Is this the patison attitude we can look forward to? He runs around telling everyone he will work with anyone. Ya right! You watch people, this guy is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Once he gets that power, he will chit on us all!

Biden goes on a couple of news stations and they ask him questions. Wow, imagine that, a few unexpected questions.......Just like they did of McCain....The next day Obama comes out like a spoiled little punk and says......"We are not doing anymore interviews with your station."

Today, he asks three large media outlets who had been with his campaign since day one to leave! Because the media companies had endorsed McCain. WOW!

If this guy can't even bite his arrogance and pride enough to deal with a few media people, how in God's name is he going to run a country?

The story is already linked on Drudge (although I'm surprised he hasn't stooped to editing out the 2 sentences that aren't anti-Obama). Two of the 3 markets (Dallas was one I forget the other) are in locked up states. The Washington paper is read in Virginia, but was booted. All 3 were booted to the bus, not booted off the trail period. Fox news, which is as anti-Obama as you can get, still has a presence on the plane (hmmm...yep, must be a conspiracy, boot the 3 papers but leave Fox news on).

McCain has already booted 2 columnists leaning heavily towards Obama. These are also mentioned in the same article.

The reporter was also addressed in a story ionically also linked in drudge, along with the 3 or 4 that gave the incident but none of the background. The "reporter" that quizzed Biden is a self-proclaimed Republican. Her husband is very involved in the party and has been advising lots of republicans, although he wasn't advising anyone at the time. Also take into account the general attitude of republicans (at least those that are heard). Already it certainly seems as though there's bias. Maybe there wasn't. People can be republicans or democrats and do their jobs.

However, her list of "questions" did not address issues, and used words and phrases right from McCain's mouth. Why didn't she ask "are your tax policies socialistin nature" instead of "is Obama a socialist" if she really wanted someone to answer the question. I'm no journalistic genius, but I can tell you it's a ton more confrontational if you ask a question paraphrasing McCain instead of addressing it to the issue which, by the way, is what counts.

Of course maybe she wanted confrontation. But wait, aren't journalists after information, informing the masses? You can watch any number of shows or movies for confrontation. I want journalists to inform me and give me information, not focus on fireworks at the cost of what their one goal is supposed to be.

All in all, if she's legit, she handled it like a fresh out of college newbie. If she's not, well then it's just another low Repub trick to toss into the trash bin.
