That's your opinion of Palin, and I imagine the opinion of most Democrats in Alaska, or at least 30-40% Alaskans. The same can be said of just about every politician in the nation, for there always is a portion of the population that trashes the opposition.
It is the same in relation to just about every woman in politics, from Pelosi to Hillary, in that a whole bunch of Americans drag them back and forth through the trash.
While you have a point - politicians all want power or they wouldn't be in it - the difference is that Sarah shows no evidence of any competence to balance her ambition. All she's got is a bit of delivery of sarcastic lines and a great ability to tell bald faced lies repeatedly.
You must be talking about Obama, since he has been referred as being a narcissist. In fact, I was listening to a psychologist (a woman) on the radio, and she said that Obama may have a problem with women, specially strong ones like Palin. According to what she was saying, he was pretty much controlled by women, and that he did not have a father figure to guide him through life, except for sort of fathers who always abandoned him. Therefore he sometimes "snipes" at women, although the women in his life are all strong.
Snipes at women? He has been the perfect gentlemen concerning Palin. His self control is amazing. Well, what diagnosis did this person have for Palin? I know that her fanatic religious beliefs dictate that she is subserviant to Todd, so I suppose when she is allowed to speak up, all of the pent up rage comes spewing out. She had a witch doctor minister cast a spell to rid her town of some woman that they claimed was a witch. Keeping that in mind, I'd say Palin was a bit addled. She has to be cold hearted because all I have ever heard regarding her stances concerning wildlife issues, was to kill them or have them removed from the endangered species list. That's a tad sociopathic. Convincing herself that she has what it takes to be anything close to a VP would also make her delusional.

No. Palin really is different. In a frightening way.
Yes, she is different alright. It is human for one to notice differences in others, but not all people notice the same things. Whatever one notices on another depends on one's upbringing from childhood. The problem is that one "sees" in others only those things one is familiar with, and as such one can be repelled or attracted by another. It often takes a long time for one to sift through one's emotions before one sees the real thing. Successful TV show producers, movie maker, writers, and speakers have a clear understanding of these issues, and target their audience, viewership, etc., accordingly. The idea is to persuade or to sell an idea, to entertain, etc.
What we see of Palin on the news media is what the news media wants you to see of Palin. The same goes for Obama, McCain, Biden, and the rest, which amounts to smoke and mirrors. The truth is not what you think, and more than likely the opposite.

About the witch doctor: how about Obama's preacher for over 20 years? Isn't it more harmful preaching hate against America than having a witch casting spells to protect you for harm? Such a witch is her business, since she is not casting spells (or whatever) to Americans.

What is wrong with a woman being topless? I was born overseas in a place where bear-breasted women wasn't tabu like it's in the US. To me there is nothing more beautiful that the woman's figure. If I were a woman, then the male figure would seem beautiful to me.
