Default Have Candidates Defined Middle Class Or Small Business?

Both candidates say that their economic policies will benefit the middle class and small businesses. But has Barack or McCain defined what middle class is or what they consider to be a small business?

It's whatever, whenever--depending on.....
No one actually knows!
Government actions seldom benefit anyone who pays taxes--it only benefits those who don't!

Obama has defined it as less than 200,000 a year per individual; less than 250,000 per year per family, for individuals.
250,000 per year (in profits) for "small business"

Here's part of the reason I asked.

The Health-Care Divide

Both candidates also have health-care plans that could impact small-businessowners and their bottom line.

The question is who qualifies for the small-business exemption.

"That's the problem," economist Williams said. "We don't know. There is nothing in the plan that says what is a small firm. Is it 10 workers? Is it 25 workers? Is it 100 workers? There's absolutely nothing there."

Obama's health plan does not specify what constitutes a "small business" or what an "affordable" premium is. It does not give income guidelines on who will have their healthcare premiums subsidized by the goverment.
