Folks, let's put this in perspective. This is NOT a Seattle mainstream "newspaper."

It's a free, weekly alternative rag.

That is irrelevant really. Do you know how many people pick up "free" and browse through it?

all the major news networks except fox are in the tank for Obama and have been since the primaries.

Hannity got it right when he said that journalism died in the USA in 2008

Excuse me--once again I was talking about the Stranger. Don't attempt to drag me into a debate over the major television networks.

actually I was talking about ALL media

newspapers and magazines as well

however since I was not clear on that and did remark expressly on the networks , I apologize for being unclear.

Why can't American mainstream media be objective?

Is it because the higher ups expect them to push their ( owners ) agendas?

I suppose that there a lot of things people could be angry about.

Free Press? Objectivity and responsibility in the profession is gone.

Americans can no longer depend on a media with a backbone. I suppose it would be hard to find a jounalist that could feel ashamed of him or her self.

Yeah, it's a lunatic fringe paper given away free.
Pretty bad article but considering the source I'm not surprised.
