Im pretty sure the last thing on the minds of the average laid off small town resident with no backup plan and a several month late mortgage could give a sh*t less about who someones pastor is and is going to be more concerned with electing who is seen as better for the economy.

Please tell me what positive message Wright has said in his church. It seems the majority of his sermons have absolutely NOTHING to do with God or religion but politics. This man hates America and hates white people...how can you think this is a great man???

Never will understand why this would be "irrelevant" to the campaign.

Because Obama has been listening to him for 20 years. 20 years of hateful remarks...how can it not be apart of him? Or why would he sit and listen to this for 20 years and not be bothered??? Why doesn't it bother you?

How many of his sermons have you been to, or listened to?

You can not say 20 years of hateful remarks. You can only say one sermon of questionable remarks. (and most never listened to the whole sermon) That all.

Have you witnessed "the majority of his sermons"?

You think John McCain is a "great man" and he votes against benefits for vets and raising the minimum wage. While he lives in luxury.

I get so sick and tired of whiny white people.

You're the one always complaining about how "hateful" McCain/Palin are, and yet you bring up the race of posters who you don't even know! And how DARE you even bring up McCain's voting record on minimum wage hikes (which are bad for business - why do you think companies leave the U.S.?)and for vet benefits (which was part of a bill he didn't like), when Obama has left his African relatives to rot in slums? And for the record, Obama and his wife, like Joe Biden, do not give very much to charitable causes. Typical limousine liberals - they want others to give their money here, there, and everywhere, but they are somehow above it all. Obama sure likes the priviledge of wealth but not any of the moral obligations!

Seems you completely misunderstood my comment. I asked how it could be considered irrelevant. Of course it's relevant. McCain himself said it was off limits - I strongly disagree.

I actually like Obama in some ways and think he has some positive ideas. However, I will not vote for him because of his association with Jeremiah Wright. Obama always talks about change and how we need to move forward but he associates, even considers a mentor, a hate monger like Wright. Makes me wonder if Obama's talk is really his views or just pandering for votes.
