There's nothing freakier than Rev. Wright or Fr. whats-his-name from Trinity Church. And remember the church members, hopping up and down, shouting, running behind Wright, and touching him, and all this other weird stuff. Freaky, huh?
That was a regular Sunday morning or Wednesday night in the AOG church.

I also wanted to add that they created their own version of Boyscouts/Girlscouts. They are called Missionettes and Royal Rangers.

Ah yes, the repuke diversion from the topic they don't want to talk about, why is that their only response when tough questions are asked?

Answer: Cause that is all they got

Remember James Watt, the United States Secretary of the Interior under Reagan? Were his religious views exempt also? He thought that because the Lord would be coming soon, environmental protections weren't needed.

Sorry, I just don't buy that a candidates whack job religion should be off limits.

And I won't fall for bait about Wright in this thread, either. I made it to discuss Palin.

If she had aborted all her children, and was pro-choice, would her religion, no matter how wacky, interest you? Or would it suddenly become irrelevant and nobody's business?

Sorry, I tend towards being pro-life. So if she'd had five abortions...yeah, I'd be concerned.

Absolutely, her religion, if she became VP or worse president, would be a religious war on science, from practice, research and most damaging to the education of factual science..

This is Sarah's own personal religion. It is not necessarily the theolgy of her church. That is the difference. Sarah is a nut-job. What matters are her personal views.

This is correct. I don't know why the other person tried to turn the discussion into one on abortion. Her religion is what it is, and because she can't separate it from her political life, we have a right to question it.

I know these people, these Mat/Su Valley evangelicals. They are not, as a whole, a more mild representation of their sect, and they are, for the most part, highly political people.

Katiana....Sarah was picked by these people to go into politics. It's been common knowledge in the Mat/Su for years.
