What is so bad about African Americans voting for another African American? If they're voting strictly on skin color, so what????? The religious right vote strictly on a candidate's abortion stance, or stem cell platform, regardless of anything else the candidate says/does.
If you don't know what is so bad about it, you are a lost cause anyway...much like others that feel the same way as you do. I rest my case...
Well you sure aren't living up to those "standards" of "uniqueness" in this election. I hear the same robotic response from every black person I hear speak about politics. "I am voting for change."
And to say we dont all vote the same? 92% in the primaries and 91% in this election. Thats not considered "voting the same"?
Really? Well I'm not sure where you live and you certainly haven't spoken to me or any other black person that I know for that matter.
I suspect many of Obama supporters will not wait in long lines to cast their vote...many Dims are lazy, uneducated, and don't realize that Obama is bad for the country - all these people want is government handouts and they think Obama will somehow spread someone else's wealth on to them.
What a sad, sad human being you are. 43 presidents and not one of them has been Black, Asian, Native American, Hispanic or, with the exception of JFK, Catholic or Jewish. They've all been White men, including their Vice Presidents, even though women are more than 50% of the population.
So what you are saying is that anytime someone isn't exactly like the others and has a name like Smith or Jones, the only reason he/she will win is because of race?
Explain this to me. I don't live in an area with a lot of Black folks and I'm friendly with 1 Black family. 2 people out of 5 voted for McCain.
If finally someone whose name sounds a little different can get into the Oval Office, it will open the door for people from all backgrounds. Is that what frightens you? Usually people who have feelings of inadequacy and are worried they're being threatened make remarks like this.

Reason: fix spelling
I'm glad African Americans are going out in groves to vote. I'm glad and tickled pink and can't get any happier!! Hooray for each and every one of them and me too. I'm glad there will finally be a chance for diversity at the highest level of government.
The way I see it is that ONE AMERICAN is voting for another AMERICAN. Their reasons are no more or less important than yours. Nor are they any less private.
After more than 230 years, and 43 presidents who were ALL WHITE MEN, it STILL isn't enough for some of you. How greedy can you be? Get off the bike Tommy and let others have a turn.
I sure am glad presidential candidates can't cut in front of the line. They have to work for this one.
