Fannie and Freddie were just viewed as another arm of Affirmative Action by the Dems. Not at all surprising. That is why the idea that those eho are worried about the economy siding with Obama is just beyond ridiculous.

According to Elizabeth Warren, a professor of bankruptcy law at Harvard who has collaborated with the non-profit organization Americans for Fairness in Lending:

"McCain has a history. McCain has voted in favor of financial institutions since he first went to Washington. He voted over and over for the bankruptcy bill, and he voted against the amendments to give medical bankrupts a means test exemption, against a uniform minimum homestead for older Americans, against limiting recovery for lenders who violate Truth-in-Lending laws."

Seems like McCain has a history too.

Those were the votes on the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. You know what that is, right? If not, then it would be worth the time to find out before even talking about Fannie and Freddie.
