I predict this will be the outcome. We'll see if im right. In this scenario Obama wins 25 states plus Washington DC

I hope you're right about Florida.
It's funny, I have a brother in Colorado, and another in New Mexico, we have been talking about our swing state status the past several months.

What I like about yours is that Obama would win with that combination even if he lost PA and FL.

Obama could lose Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Hampshire in this scenario and he would still win. It just goes to show what a steep improbable hill McCain has to climb. Obama has numerous paths to get over 270 but this is the one im predicting.

depending on which states Obama wins early in the night, we should know early if Obama will win. Obviously if Obama keeps Pennsylvania and wins Florida that confirms it. Or if Obama wins Virginia. Virginia is a key indicator how the night will go. An Obama Virginia win means that we should expect an Obama landslide by the time the night is over.

I think you might be dead-on. I believe Ohio and Missouri tend to lean a little more conservative, and Obama might lose to McCain in both states. As for Florida, I have wondered if it will go to McCain. I might give it to McCain. McCain *may* win New Hampshire, also. Otherwise, I think McCain is in for a long night of disappointment. Obama should win right around 300 electoral votes, I think.

Oh yeah, as for North Carolina, I think McCain might win here, when everyone else thought it was Obama. The state will be close I think. The one thing that could turn it is turn-out. A big turn-out turns it blue!!!

This thing will be over once the polls close at 7.00 pm here in Virginia. That's my prediction.

I think McCain will win Ohio, but by a VERY narrow margin in which there would have to be a recount. It is possible that newly registered democrats and a high black turnout there could prove me wrong. Kerry lost Ohio by 100,000 votes and the Obama campaign registered a million people in Ohio. But things can become a wash if there are a number of people there that wont vote for Obama because he is black.

I agree with you there. Virginia hasnt turned blue since 1964 so it would be a clear indicator that Obama would win the election.
