What's the story with the Neocons? (Cheney, patriot, ethical, crimes)

Cheney fancies himself a villian straight out of a James Bond movie. He thinks that he is Goldfinger, Thunderball, Dr. No, etc. I personally think that he is a vampire. Not a vampire that is sexy or charming as some that we might have read about or seen in an Anne Rice book or movie and not even as endearing as Bela Lugosi's Dracula. No, Cheney is a vampire is every sense of the word. He is a parastic killer. A blood thirsty creature that will do anything to stay alive and enrich himself. Anyone that has anything to do with him such as the Bush Crime Family and all of the Neocons are accomplices to his horrendous crimes and evil agenda.

What I can't figure out is if they genuinely wanted to retain power, why did they not do anything noble, kind, chatritable, patriotic, caring, responsible, or ethical for this country or the planet and the people on it? Were they smart enough to dupe America and yet so stupid as not to realize that people caught on to what they have done and would do their best to rid the country of these vermin? Really, dd they get so rich that they really do not care anymore about staying in power in Washington or did they believe that we'd be fooled again? If they threw some curve balls and did anything that would have given them a leg to stand on and claim that this or that policy was for the good of the American people, it would have left room for some doubt as to their greedy agenda. These criminals have no claims to anything benevolent in their history of running the country except for running it into the ground. Were they really that sure or that stupid?
