I can go anytime and I'm wondering what would be the best time as far as crowds. I live in a rural area. I was thinking about getting up and going at 6:00 am when the polls open, but that could backfire.

Then I thought I would just go late morning before the lunch crowd or early afternoon. I think after 5 would be the most crowded with people getting off from work.

What time do you plan on going and why?

6 am - it's right down the street. Why - beat the rush, see who else came out at this hour.

I think anyone waiting until tomorrow to vote will experience long lines no matter what time they go to vote. I am going at 2:00 PM becuase that is the only time it fits my schedule.

Depends on where you live. My county has 30k registered voters. There are 27 polling places. There may be a line, but it won't be hours.

I early voted a week ago. I had to wait about a half hour and got there around 10am. About 15 minutes after my kids and I got in line the line had grown to at least 10 times the size it was when we got there.

I'm planning on getting there around 5:45...I have to work around 7:30-8:00 (teacher work day, so some flexibility) and have about a 15 minute commute. I hope my plan works out! If not, I would either have to take my kids with me around 4 p.m. or wait until my husband gets home around 5 pm to watch them...but since the polls close in VA at 7 pm I'm worried that I might get "shut out"....so 6 a.m. for me! (I am soooo excited!)
