A separate legislative investigation recently concluded that Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, abused her office by allowing her husband and staffers to pressure the public safety commissioner to fire a state trooper who went through a nasty divorce from Palin's sister.
The board that exonerated Palin was appointed by her...the legislative investigation was bipartisan.
Sweet. I'm glad something's going well for her at last.

Right. From the Alaska Personnel Board. The board that Palin has in her pocket. *sigh*
Pretty much so. We never expected anything else. The three person Personnel Board serves at the same "pleasure of the governor" that Walt Monegan did. She has the power to fire them.
All I know is that if her husband was as involved in government business, as has been reported, she should be reprimanded for breech of confidentiality and security. She has behaved inappropriately to say the least.
Come get her Alaska. We've had more than enough of her kind of ethics.
