That's really the wonderful thing this election has proved. Their smears are not working anymore. Look at Bachman in Minnesota and Dole in North Carolina. They are getting punished for their smears of Dems.
The GOP base is about 20% of the total electorate now. They are bigoted conspiracy theorists and religious fundamentalists. Sprinkled with gun nuts and neocons. It's over for them.
Oh it's not over for the GOP. I'm a Republican voting for Obama. It is over for those types of Republicans however. And I don't think I have to reach across the aisle to get you to dance with me in glee when it happens
