Joe the Plumber is actually just a metaphor....he's really part of the mafia. Which makes sense now.
JTP reminds me of a lot of people on this forum...they talk out of their a.ss and can't back it up. He's nothing more than a handy man. He'll hang your drapes, fix wobbly door knobs, unblock your loo. A plumber? I think not. I don't know about the USA but there are guys with cushy, but highly stressed city jobs that are opting out to become plumbers here in the UK and they make close to that.
