He has much the same type views as an early Adolf Hitler as read in Mien Kampf , and yet is very Marxist and demonstrates some Stalinist tendencies as well.

it is a far cry from a progressive tax , which we have had.
His comment was taken out of context. He was referring to taxing higher income Americans. Period. He was not talking about the government having central control of all facets of economic production.
Taxation IS a form of wealth redistribution. It takes money (taxes) from people and REDISTRIBUTES it (roads, military expenditures), etc.
