Stood in line with my wife ... on an unusually sunny, warm day in November

Listened to the guy behind me on his cell phone. Wasn't trying to, but he was on his cell phone the entire time were were in line until we got right to the door (we were waiting outside most of the time). Was trying to figure out who he was voting for based on his conversation. He was talking about business and how they were recruiting people from different colleges in the city. And then he said something about the first rule of management is that you let people feel like they have control and then when they least expect it you reign them in. He said that's a little trick he learned from his dad (who obviously was also in business of some kind). I didn't understand the reign them in part. I have always felt like you have to empower people but what did he mean by "reign them in?" why not just let them feel empowered? I would have asked him but I didn't want to be nosy.

I timed it PERFECTLY. People heading for work were finally clearing out. If I'd gone an hour earlier I'd have waited...an hour. (I know because my husband had to try twice.) I dropped my middle son off at school, took the little guy and we were in and out like a prom date. I'm very excited about this election! Fingers crossed!

lol...it's ok there are so many new gadgets out there. Even though no one really plays with this game anymore. I have one and lost interest about 3 months into it. However, you can watch movies on it. lol
