THIS has been a long day....up at 4am, left around 8am and voted for OBAMA!!!!....Then to work which is a block away from the polling station and a stop off before and after voting....I've turned at least 4 or 5 peoples(if not more) votes today who were thinking of vote for McLame(Obama is going to take prayer out of our schools because he is a muslim,Obama's met with "terrists" and blah blah) and who were on the fence but had nothing but FAUX talking points to go on(lying like that by ANYONE associated with a campaign should carry a life sentence in the pen.Fing scumbags).I fixed that as best I could.....I have a really good feeling judged on everything I've heard from voters coming and going to vote today (I've talked to at least a hundred or more today) and I'm cautiously optimistic and very tired, but I think we have it boys and girls,I really do.

MSNBC projects Mark Warner to win Senate in Virginia that is helpful to Obama if they are doing it that early.

Probably her insane "Godless" attack ads against Hagan ruined her chances. The ads pictured Hagan with a voice-over implying Hagan was "Godless." Hagan is a Sunday School teacher, is NOT "Godless" and Dole got pilloried by the press for the ludicrous lie, not to mention the utter bad taste of it all. When will the GOP learn? This isn't the same nation it was in 2000 or 2004. Swift Boating doesn't work this year and the press hops on all the bogus crap to kill it.

She was really just HORRIBLE this campaign. I wonder if desperation + really bad advice = what the heck that trainwreck turned into?

I wonder if there will be any effect on future campaigns. If Repubs will be saying, "No, we can't go that negative, we don't want another 2008" or if they will really blame it all on a referendum on Bush and claim there was just nothing they could have done to salvage this election.

My son just called from Maine...he cast his vote for Obama there!

What's up in Virginia? I am biting my nails. I need you guys for support...watching with my husband who is from Eastern Europe originally (he isn't a citizen yet, so couldn't vote) and is really pessimistic that Obama can beat the Republican "sleaze machine" (his words). Watching with him is doubly stressful...have to reassure myself and him!
