I also don't think your prayer for impeachment will come to fruition.
I even think that our country *might* be able to unify just a little bit.
Already been proposed but there were too many conservatives to get it passed. The dems will be in their usual game of trampling on rights soon if a filibuster doesn't keep it out.

I think I've seen it a bit more divisive...even though a lot of people are saying, "GREAT! WE ELECTED THE ANTI-CHRIST!!!" "HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF A TRUE CHRISTIAN AND VOTE FOR OBAMA?"

These are just the things I've seen on Facebook statuses by young people...you can imagine what the older people are saying....

In any case, we'll never truly come together. ::shrug::

There is much more on this topic by the founders as well. I think they believed ethics, virtue, and morality to be key to the success of this nation and I think this is why so many people make it an issue.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Obama has been voted in as President. In Jan. he will be YOUR president.

Regardless of who wins, we need to support our next President in these difficult times.

I realize there are a lot of differences between the two candidates, but try to find some common ground if you can. I've never seen this country so divided and I hope that comes to an end, and quickly.

I will support my President regardless of party affiliation. No, I won't support him against my moral and ethical beliefs but I do believe we have to come together as a nation and quit bickering with each other.
As you stated; I have nothing to add

Too late for that,I think the republicans covered all of that and they still remained untouched

Call me old fashioned, but I only support those representatives that share my view on issues. Why would anyone support a politician that is diametrically opposed to every principle and value they have? That would be hypocritical at the very the least.

As far as those calling for national unity, I can't help but wonder if they would making the same pleas in 1933 NAZI Germany after Hitler became chancellor. Do they really want us to become a nation of sheep? Unity in the face of evil only perpetuates more evil, making those professing unity complicit in all the evil that is done.

The nation voted for "change", and "change" is exactly what they will get. We will go from a free-market capitalist nation that once valued individual freedom and had the courage to fight for our convictions, to a socialist fascist nation of sheep that despises dissent. But at least that is "change."
