That wouldn't really be fair. It would take us back to colonial America where elections are determined by the physical area of voters, not population.

Plus, the EC system greatly benefits Democrats and Obama because it supresses non-Democrat/ignorant voters in states like California, Washington, New York, and Oregon.

Based on that, I have no idea why the Democrats cried about it so much in 2000 and 2004 since it benefits them so much.

re: next election. right now that seems like an eternity. with the powers that be poised to escalate the war further the reality of getting someone in that is going to opposite direction is a god send. i am so grateful.

Meh. Thousands of people here wake up at 4 AM to drive to work in NYC and then don't get back home until 15 or 16 hours later.
