President Obama has now been given a mandate by the American people to make things change. He has been given a mandate to change Healthcare, Schooling, the Economy and the war in Iraq. America has spoken and change is on the way. He will succeed.

He barely has a little over 50 percent of the popular vote. Not much of a mandate if you ask me.

Not only is it not a mandate, but an overwhelming percentage (in the 90% range I believe) of blacks voted for Obama. If that was reversed, it would be called racism.

I don't have TV at my house. I tried googling 93% obama and came up with squat. About the best I could come up with was a FOX News page stating that 91% of blacks voted for him... in the North Carolina primary in May. So again, post your source.

I heard it was on CNN too but that's secondhand info.

No mandate. Did he get 60% of the vote? The economy got him elected, liberal issues didn't. So he has to fix the economy, something Bush and Clinton never did, something no president ever did except maybe Teddy Roosevelt in the last 100 years. Obama's made no promises to go after those repsonsible for the economic melt down, many of whom are his friends. So get ready for the status quo, but maybe Obama might **** off many liberals and actually do a good job.

Clinton got 83 percent of the black vote in 1992, and 84 percent in 1996.
Was that racism?
