Well, kidding aside, it looks like she may go from Governor of Alaska to senator for Alaska. Ted Stevens is looking like he will win re-election and then resign, allowing Palin to appoint the new senator. Talk is she will appoint herself.

Nah. I'm just sitting here, with the news on in the background, semi-watching McCain's concession speech (again), and I noticed that Palin looks very sad (understandably). I was just wondering what others thought will happen to her.

Obviously, McCain will go back to being Senator, and will probably retire after his term is up. But, I was wondering what others think will happen to Palin, who is still fairly young. I guess it just depends on whether or not she has enough supporters to prolong her career. I decided to ask.

What's wrong with that? Just because your candidates lost, doesn't mean they're free from scrutiny. Lighten up.

Oh, did I say something that hit a nerve? I'm sorry.

She has many followers, but she didn't come out of this looking intelligent and capable of handling tough questions. I guess I'll never understand why she was so popular. If she was Obama's running mate I would have felt the same way. It wasn't completely her fault, but she just didn't impress me at all.

I checked that she will continue to serve as Governor of Alaska. However, I don't know if she will be re-elected.

Nope. No nerves hit at all. Why do you ask?

No need to apologize. Like I said...no feelings hurt at all. Takes much more than that to upset me. Especially on such a historic night that went exactly the way I had hoped.
