Do you think Bobby Jindal will run for president against Obama in 2012 or will the Republican party choose a more Conservative person? I think it would be very interesting to see these 2 running in 2012. Both non-White, very smart, educated and charismatic. Who else could possibly defeat Obama in 2012?

Bobby Jindal would be a good choice. Somebody not so conservative could get more votes from independents.

With the internal crisis in the Republican party, Jindal is the only Republican candidate I would vote for. I was listening to him speak last night and I was very impressed. He would probably get a lot of heat from the Evangelicals and Conservatives though for being more of a moderate but he is a very competent, educated and likable person. I think he would be the most logical choice for 2012.

Bobby Jindal did a great job managing the latest hurricane near New Orleans. He was said to have been under consideration for McCain's VP ticket and I'm glad he declined to have two terms as governor of LA. I think he really has star quality and potential. Not sure if 2012 is ihis time though.

You think the GOP/RNC will force him to take a certain VP as well? We all know how that worked out

I like Jindal. He represents the direction the GOP needs to go.

What about Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty? Only heard him speak once, but he seems like a reasonable possibility...possibly a VP candidate at a minimum. Seems to be well liked, smart, and different enough from the old guard.

Jindal is too far-right for my taste. With Palin, we had the witch doctor. With Jindal, exorcism (which he claims to have witnessed). No. Way.

Bobby Jindal is pretty conservative. The GOP should not go any further to the right than Jindal. He may be too "ethnic" for the GOP.

I like Jindal but I also like Newt Gingrich. I would like to see them both on the same ticket.
