Something symbolic that will begin the process of uniting Red and Blue and bring forth the process of healing a divided America.

Naming a republican to his cabinet? Possibly McCain?

President Bush offered assistance with executive orders during this transition. Can they work together to get something done that will be transformational- even on a small level?

I was- and remain a strong Obama supporter. But now is the time for him to begin to deliver on his much promised change.

I agree with you. The words "A more perfect union" come to mind.
I think Obama will indeed need some balance in his cabinet, and I do believe he will come up with more than one Republican.

Honestly I don't think he can, he has made to many lofty goals to achieve. I think what you Obama supporters are going to see is him getting a big dose of reality when he gets to the Oval Office.

The question is will you be as thrilled with him we he can't deliver?

Just going on history here, nothing else.

.
Well, he has a huge mess to clean up, for sure.
But he has already successfully overcome some fairly hefty obstacles.
I actually believe he is more centrist than some lefties might like.
Regardless, while the gritty reality is daunting indeed, he and his team are not defeatists--nor are we.

What could he possible do? He does not represent one single moral, valve, stance on issues, NOTHING.

There is nothing he can do other then moving to the center by HUGE amounts.

Obama had US attys in MI arresting medical cannabis patients in MI, cancer or whatever, told they may be facing 5 years.

Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson says he is for the 100% equally. Does Obama or Romney claim this? Sure he's in 3rd place at about 10% due to media blackout. But they have to allow him in the debates if he starts to poll at 15%. His VP Jim Gray from judges against the drug war.org will be having an internet town hall on 6/13 with guest Rob Kampia from Marijuana Policy Project.

He had his chance...four years of it...and failed beyond miserably.

It's time to move on.
