There is no such thing as "reverse racism." But there is certainly racism from blacks to whites.

Obama will definitely have his chance and there is no easy task ahead.
I voted for him because I felt that the fact that he is a minority would send a defined message to the world that we are one people now. No longer divided by race. My hopes are that all will rise to the opportunity to pool our resources and become a singular enity to reckon with.
We shall always have our differences but we need to redefine what being called an American means. We must learn that fighting for each other is critical in maintaing a strong united Nation.
This is not a 4 year term and 8 years won't get it done either. But, we must start now. Hopefully Obama can get the ball rolling.

Because I know what his record is. I have no reason to respect this fraud but every reason to have disdain for him.

Plain to see, all the neo-cons are still out and about, showing their ugly disdain.

True and higher positions like sec of state and Defense which no Dem has ever had but keep in mimd Libs like to decide who is "black" and who isn't.

Republican hatred as found in all these threads isn't about Obama's experience, judgement, character, or ability to be commander-in-chief

it's because he has darker skin then they do- and their prejudice runs deep
Yes, that's why over 1/2 of Americans voted him into office while a large portion of them being these so called "racist" white people. Sorry, but your race card has been revoked, please provide a proper argument next time as the freebies have run out.

Crappy comments like this make unity impossible. But I doubt it's really unity that y'all want -- you expect everyone to simply dismiss their opinions and ideas unless they mirror yours. Sorry, no can do.

Happily, though, I don't think Pres.-elect Obama expects what his followers demand.
