A'int it good to know that you live in a country where you can vote freely and not be intimidated by dictators and their henchmen. Where political opponents can shake hands, congratulate the winner and continue to work for the common good of the citizens. There are so many countries that don't enjoy these freedoms.

I can think of anything more remarkable about the United States than the fact that when Obama is sworn in as President we will have experienced some 54 elections to determine the head of state, that translates into 54 uninterrupted and peaceful transfers of the national government. I think anyone would be hard pressed to come up with a more exemplary record.
