Default Palin spent more on clothes than previously reported

Considering this kind of stuff, the goofy interviews, her overall acting like a Bimbo, and the results of the election...do you think in hindsight McCain would have picked someone else?

Quote:
One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family — clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent ‘tens of thousands’ more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband.

Angry Palin Spent More on Clothes Than Originally Disclosed

"NEWSWEEK has also learned that Palin's shopping spree at high-end department stores was more extensive than previously reported. While publicly supporting Palin, McCain's top advisers privately fumed at what they regarded as her outrageous profligacy. One senior aide said that Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three suits for the convention and hire a stylist. But instead, the vice presidential nominee began buying for herself and her family—clothes and accessories from top stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. According to two knowledgeable sources, a vast majority of the clothes were bought by a wealthy donor, who was shocked when he got the bill. Palin also used low-level staffers to buy some of the clothes on their credit cards. The McCain campaign found out last week when the aides sought reimbursement. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost. An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books."

Thank goodness this unethical self-serving woman did not make it into national office. I cannot believe how she thinks its fine to spend the public's money on her clothes, her family's clothes and travel, and even on travel reimbursements when she's AT HOME! She is totally outrageous and would have been one of our most corrupt politicians if given the chance. She showed her true colors and Americans did not like what they were seeing! The proof is in the pudding for the nay sayers..

Palin's clothes issue is a drop in the bucket compared to the extra $180. million Obama spent on his campaign.

Obama spent his money wisely...Palin, acting like a tramp, wasted money, taking advantage of GOP donors to gussy up herself and her family.

Wow - Are you suddenly Obama's Financial Advisor? I understand that you are probably one of his supporters who thinks he's the next Messiah, but all he has actually done so far is get elected. Why don't we put our support behind him and hope to high heaven that he actually has some actions that back up those words...change,change,change... before witnessing the 2nd coming. Oh, and btw, I would expect another woman to call her a tramp, but you, a man?

I think alot of the Palin bashing is from women who are jealous of her good looks or jealous of her fabulous wardrobe.

I don't know which is worse, that little witch or the little fools that support her.
