Bumpy yes. However the only thing fun about it will be listening to all of the new excuses the dems will invent to blame anyone but themselves.

He has a big task ahead of him. It's in all of our best interests that he does a good, no, GREAT job.

I don't get it with all of the people wishing for him to fail.

Although I disagree with several of his base policies, I think he has some good ideas and should be given a chance.

Harsh reality for the utopia kookaid drinkers. Too bad those of us who who backed McCain knew this all along.

I'm not saying he can't work through this, as either would have had too, but we were screaming, this guy was selling you all HUGE pipe dreams that would not come to pass.

Good luck! Enjoy the ride, it's gonna be fun and VERY bumpy!
Obama always said it was going to be a hard road ahead, in almost every speech i've heard from him. Most of us are happy he is in because we know he is fighting for us and not for the corporations.

It's going to take years for the economy to get fixed.

Why would some assume anything different?

Can you people read, you are missing the entire point. More one line attacks that do not relate to the post. I knew the economoy was VERY bad and it would take time to repair, yet Obama ran back and forth across this country for a year telling EVERYONE how much he was going to give them. This despite the bad economy.

And about Bush. I was vested in the Spring of 2000 when the dot com era crashed down and despite it happening on Clinton's watch, Bush got blamed by the likes of you and the media. He got hit by 9-11, also planned on Clinton's watch, then fought two wars and still kept unemployment below 5%!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the minute Obama takes office, he takes the blame for it all baby. You all set the rules, now we will play by them!

The economy is not going to get fixed.

It's only going to drop fast or faster. NAFTA was just the beginning of the world economy equalizing and anyone who thinks things will go up hill from here need to research the growing third world countries and how they will become the new "cheaper" workers as prices continue to rise always.....
