I wonder what or if they will name a new forum after the 2008 Election is relegated to memory for folks who wish to discuss the Presidency and politics under President Obama?

I like Politics at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave

I believe it will just be, "elections" but can't say for sure. Guess I'll find out when you do.

Isn't there already a Politics board, the one this sub-forum was spawned from?

It would be kind of cool to have a separate sub-forum to specifically discuss the issues of the New Administration and day to day political topics surrounding President Obama, that are sure to poor out as the new Administration rolls in....

I think this is a good idea.

I like this name too. Has a certain cache.

Or, just call it "1600 Pennsylvania Ave." and you get the added benefit of being the top forum alphabetically.

IMO, this forum should focus on the presidency--not elections in general. But that's just my two cents.

Folks are free to share their thoughts and opinion on how they feel the forum should be named or change or what not in the "About" section of the forum. It is read by the Admin and all things are considered.

I suspect it will remain as named currently at least until Jan 20th 2009, but truth is, I don't know when the changes will be made.

Would that be considered appropriate, or is it better internet manners to let this be the admin's privilege? If you think it's a good idea, I'd be happy to start such a thread.
