"someone" did not mean specifically you!
"someone" referred to some denizen of CD! there would have been a thread on her dress irregardless of what she wore IMO, even if you were not on CD. PERIOD.
don't take what I wrote out of context and twist it and make it about YOU.

I'm wondering why she would wear that dress. Do you think she realized the dress looks like a black widow? Do you think she wore it intentionally? I don't mean intentionally like she intends to be a widow, I mean intentionally as if to make a statement but I don't know what the statement would be...It bothers me a lot. I didn't vote for Obama but I certainly don't want anything to happen to him, either. I have worried for 8 years that someone would make an attempt on Bush's life. I just wish she'd picked a different dress.
""I just wish she'd picked a different dress"""
Are ALL repubs so superstitious? Reminds me of throwing salt over your shoulder and not walking under ladders or you'll have bad luck....how backwards, ignorant...believing in symbols ? Good luck charms? What's next ..Voo-Doo???
I think it's just wishful thinking on the OP poster's part that she keeps referring to this dress as a
"black widow" dress....
THIS is what repugs are going to spend the next 8 years whining about....or HOPING FOR!!!!
What do you think about Michelle Obama's black widow dress on election night?

Those are some sour grapes you have there, dear woman.
I think she is a beautiful woman and I think that was an ugly dress......it didnt say anything to me other than she is her own person.....and doesnt hve the time or interest to watch stacy and clinton on "what not to wear". It certainly wasnt a boring choice....and I bet she paid for it!
Well, looks like some obama supporters are going to have a loooooong four years if you let criticism of MO dress bother you this much.
Historically what First Ladies wore was talked about, critiqued and copied. It's what women do --- get used to it! Frankly, I am amazed that some of you guys are so shocked and appalled that people would want to talk about what MO wears......after all, Jackie Kennedy was a style icon in her day and what she wore was written about extensively.
So really, this isn't about Michelle Obama bashing, it is about the fug dress she wore. Nothing more and nothing less. No doubt you will see many threads just like this one pop up during/after the inaugeration --- what will she wear for the walk and swearing in? What will she wear at the ball? I hope for her sake it is something from a different designer -- this one led her wrong!
Ok, edited to add: there is some below the belt crap being said, and that is wrong. Basket on the head? Really? Come on now people, she will be the First Lady, get used to it!
Now let's talk about fashion
WOW !this proposistion 8 supporter been watching too much of ''What not to wear'' episodes..
