his approval ratings are pretty high.

He did a very good job handeling the hurricane this year.

The thing that is interesting (and maybe nationally prophetic)

Jindal got beat 5 years ago by a democrat because of his race. Then 4 years later that democrat had done such a horrible job that she didnt even run for reelection and Jindal won with big numbers.

He is brilliant, articulate, and conservative.

so your looking for an America that has never existed?

Jindal is a rising start. At last a charismatic, articulate, smart, young Republican. w00t! I'm on board.

First thing they would need to do is get him a voice coach. The man talks way too fast to be understood. Heard him at press confrences during the last hurricane preperation.

So in 08' the GOPs argument is that the DNC candidate has a funny name; funny associations; and supposedly has a funny religion (i.e. lies about Obama being a muslim).

But in 12' the GOP should put up a candidate that has a funny name (Piyush Jindail, Bobby being a nickname from the Brady Bunch); has funny associations (hindu background, and later very extreme catholic beliefs).

What if India decides to invade Pakistan, Bushes' partner in the war on terror despite his recent bombings? If Bin Laden is known to be in Pakistan would you want a US president that was an immigrant to a country that is their sworn enemy?

The GOP's argument with Obama was that he had associations with domestic terrorists, a racist religious leader, and ties to a corrupt organization. Jindal has no such background. He was born in the USA, his parents are immigrants. And I would rather have someone who worships deeply, than someone who listens to "G******" America" for twenty years.
