Well, seeing as the election happened 3 days ago, I think you might want to give people a chance to calm down and let it settle in. To expect people ON THE NIGHT of the election not to be upset that their candidate did not win is kind of unreasonable IMO. You would have seen the same thing during the Obama speech if he would have lost. I think it is very unfair of you.

"am opposed to conducting ourselves as though we knew God's Plan or God's Will, when in fact we could not know such plan or will, even if there were one, which has not been demonstrated by the many brilliant minds dedicated to doing so.

Basic human decency is not God's Will, it is people, in their collective wisdom, understanding what is in the collective best interest of everyone. Our perceptions of God's will often conflict with basic human decency, and keeps coming much closer to destoying us."

Hi, I was not saying that this is, is not God's Will, and my comments were made in response to those who have said that...and now, being upset, if that is their belief, that they don't like the choice....or ..

I hope that makes my comments a bit clearer, yes?

My point is my frustration having so many say that and then be 'angry' or non-supportive or bitter, whatever...we have a new president-elect; we need to support him and clearly a choice was made regarding the parties in this campaign. And, it is of historic significance!

Would you, if you lived in Germany in 1933, have said the same about Adolph Hitler winning power?

As you can see, I don't buy into that way of looking at things, there are too many examples from history of why it's not a good idea to support every leader who comes to power.
