Yes, the shock to the gay community in California is how many reliable Democrats voted against gay marriage. It wasn't just Black Baptists but also Latino Catholics who voted for Obama & every other Democrat on the ballot but then voted against gay marriage. Sad situation that the church has to take responsibility for & lose their tax exempt status of political support for denying human rights. That is the outrage!

Not everyone believes in Jesus, g-d or the bible. Quoting scripture is pointless to me.

Didn't the bible also say that you should love thy neighbor?

Human rights?

When do human rights become superior to evolutionary theory that the left so embraces.... You know natural selection.... Kinda hard to have that if homosexuals die off after one generation.

I didn't know that the only purpose of mankind was to reproduce! You mean like animals? By the way Jesus didn't write the Bible so what would you know what he thought?

As for blacks voting against it homophobia is entrenched in their culture. Religion plays a huge role in this as well. There is a whole sub culture of black gay & bisexual men that will never admit their sexuality openly. It even has a term called the "down low" and basically they live in denial. It's hypocritcal to say the least.
