True or false, you can avoid these kinds of mistakes with proper vetting and some stones to tell your party to kiss off when a running mate is forced on you.

Due to a computer glitch, I'm unable to read the article. However, I will make several comments.

Firstly, Palin was offered the job which was a big mistake. Secondly, I think Palin should have realized that she wasn't qualified and should have said, "Thanks but no thanks."

This story will have legs, but I don't think we'll ever know the exact truth.

According to one source, Palin was simply too busy to prepare for the Couric interview. That's what I read, and nothing was said about a refusal to prepare.

The facts about the expensive clothing purchases are just unreal. Todd Palin's purchases appear to be in the neighborhood of $40,000 and Sarah's purchases appear to be in the neighborhood of $150,000.

Piper Palin had a $650 handbag. Unreal!
