" I don't think I can go for years listening to that."

My mother would have said,......"well don't listen then".

For the past eight years we had a president who couldnt speak the English language and who was a constant embarressment; We now have a President elect who is exceedingly inteligent and thoughtful and who can not only speak in sentences but can think on his feet and doesnt need scripts or hidden microphones to feed him answers and instructions.

If listening to inteligent discourse is not appealing to you.....like Mom said, "Don't Listen!"

He is a very good speaker and I can't believe anyone thinks otherwise. Most people thought he did well today, so you are in the minority. He has a lot of presence and commands your attention.

We are all laughing at him. He can't handled the pressure and it shows in his speech patterns.

I am not interested in unity. I am interested in the destruction of the Liberal mentality. I thought the conservatives were going to have to do it, but as it turns out, Obama will do it himself.

He was talking off the cuff and was nervous and probably not rehearsed or coached. I guess this was the uhh...uhh...uhhh.. speech on Iran. If he threatens Iran I don't care how many uhhhs he uses. I hope its just not lip service, it better not be. I'd hate to think he's growing a spine and then find out he's just trying to pull a fast one. And everybody says uhhh.... even George Bush.

That wasn't a standing ovation. That was a sign of the respect due to a President-elect.
