What has being a feminist got to do with it????/What an ODD statement????

Oh, and which man went out and overspent like a drunken sailor on clothes ????

Which man NEEDED an update?

Obama spent over 600 million dollars. Try looking into what he spent on postage... 150k? try 200 times that.

She has been attacked over and over for being everything from a woman to having children and a typical American family.

But alas...obsess over the clothes.

Sarah Palin has spent all of her life in a cocoon, living in Idaho and Alaska. As soon as the lights were place on her though, she proved to be someone best left under the rock. Far right and racist, she is far too simple-minded to be anywhere near the White House or Congress. Palin can rule Podunk. That is her place.

Obama didn't spend it on clothes. I won't attack her kids, but I don't think hers is the "typical American family".

What does feminism got to do with it??? Are you serious? It has everything to do with it. Generally speaking when a woman is attacked viciously specifically because she is a woman (which Palin so obviously was), feminists are generally all over it. But, of course, since Palin is a Conservative, they were mysteriously absent much like the ACLU was conspicuously absent when Joe the Plumber was investigated.

So feminism and privacy only applies to Liberals evidently.

Simple minded? Really. So because she speaks more like the person next door, from her heart, passionately, and just plain real, she is therefore simple minded? She should live under a rock? Does where you reside somehow determine the level of your intelligence?

How "elitist" can you get???!!!

This post reminds me of an MSNBC pundit just this morning who stated she needs "media training" .... she needs to get her "talking points" straight.

That's exactly what I like about her. She says what she believes straight out. She doesn't pull any punches or stick to the laid out "talking points" like the rest of the politicians. She walks her own path, not the one laid out for her by her "handlers".

I am so sick and tired of politics as usual and all the rules attached to it.

The Presidential Transition Act of 2000 amended the Presidential Transition Act of 1963. The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-458) amended the Presidential Transition Act of 1963. It authorizes the provision of security clearances for prospective transition team members who will have a need for access to classified information to carry out their responsibilities as members of the President-elect's transition team.
Please explain what you are getting at with this.

She was not found innocent- and the recent investigation was into her activities as governor. The story you cite above is from when she was a mayor.

Re Rape kits- here is an article: Palin's town charged women for rape exams - CNN.com
Alright you win.
Mayor Palin instructed the Wasilla Chief of Police to charge the insurance companies of rape victims for rape kits.
She then ordered every other municipality in Alaska to do likewise until the Governor of Alaska was able to stop her.

The same has been said of Joe Biden yet McCain supporters have criticized him for those attributes.

Why is it OK for Sarah to insert her foot in her mouth but not for Biden?

Well I didn't know all that. I wonder why that wasn't brought out during the campaign.

It has nothing to do with feminism because femiminists believe everyone should be treated equally.
They don't believe a woman should be given special treatment because she's female.

McCain insulted feminists by nominating a "woman"...and he thought any woman would do...that is sexist.

Palin isn't stupid, ego-centric, uninformed, ignorant and power crazy because she's female....but because she's Sara Palin, an individual.
